Mary Baker Eddy, founder of the Christian Science movement
When Mary Baker Eddy died she was buried in a tomb with a phone in it, her church paid for the phone line for years just in case she called from the dead...........She never phoned so the service was cut off. ( file this in your useless books of information!)

Poisoned peaches, smoke and mirrors.
.............and puppets that converse with Bowie's Crotch.
I love the vivid ethereal land that is the Labyrinth.

And now for some education Ron Muek the Australian born and self taught artist, worked on the movie, and was the voice of Ludo! Gotta love that. He began his career in Australia making puppets for childrens shows.
So there you go little ones!

Tim Burtin and Tim walker - One of my favourite fashion shoots.
The October issue of Harper's Bazaar 2009 features a Halloween fashion spread inspired by filmmaker Tim Burton and the WONDERFUL photography of Tim Walker. (the two Tims) http://www.timwalkerphotography.com/
Burton re-imagines the season's dark delights from Rodarte, Louis Vuitton, YSL, Alexander McQueen, and Nina Ricci to create a deliciously rad photo spread.
I love everything about this shoot, the clothing, the make up, the skeletons, the models, I get so excited and inspired. I love it.
I have always loved this shoot and absolutely had to share it with you all, as Mr. Tim Burton is in good Old Melbourne town this week and the exhibition begins at a.c.m.i YAY
